Dakota Gold

Dakota Gold is a dry cider project inspired by my family’s history in South Dakota and my upbringing in California. The design works to bridge the two landscapes through a nostalgic yet contemporary lens. Drawing from classic American beer labels, the bottle combines familiar typographic structures and ornamental details with a contemporary perspective.

The result is a label that feels both personal and timeless. Dakota Gold captures the warmth of shared moments and the cultural language of everyday drinking traditions, reinterpreted through a contemporary design lens.
